Please join us and the M STREET BAND for an end-of-summer concert in San Remo Park. We will eat, drink, dance, and take the opportunity to raise money for our LIYC Junior Sailing Program, which has taught our kids to sail for almost 75 years.
Many young residents, grandchildren, and local families have had the pleasure of learning to sail right here on Lido. We teach children from the age of 5 about water and boating safety, as well as sailing and racing skills. Our goal is to teach a love of boating that will last all their lives. All money raised during this event will go directly to the Junior Sailing program with some of the largest costs being coach salaries and boat maintenance.

BELOW ARE THE FAQs AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONCERT:
REGISTRATION OPENS FOR CHECK-IN AT 4:00 PM
TICKET COLLECTION — Pick up your pre-paid tickets at the check-in tables located on Via San Remo, in front of the park access gate. Please note, tickets will not be for sale at the gate on Saturday.
PARK GATES OPEN AT 4:30 PM
LIYC ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE POLICY — In accordance with vendor requirements, members and guests are not permitted to have open bottles of alcohol at their seats, and self-service of alcohol is not allowed at any time.
Concert in the Park is 21+ over. Proof of age ID may be required for entry.
BEVERAGE SERVICE — To ensure full compliance with ABC regulations, LIYC policy requires all beverage service at this event to be provided by professional RBS-certified bartenders from our contracted vendor, Amber Spirits, stationed at our no-host bars.
LIYC has partnered with Hi-Time Wine Cellars to stock our bars with delicious wines and beers (regular and non-alcoholic) for this event. Your ticket package includes two beverages per guest; additional beverage tickets will be available for purchase, $5 each for wine or beer. Payment by cash or credit card only.
Sodas and waters will be offered complimentary at the bar stations.
With the great assortment of wines and beers offered by Hi-Time Wine Cellars, combined with our friendly-priced additional tickets, we recommend you keep your special wine bottles cool at home and enjoy beverages from LIYC + Hi-Time Wine Cellars.
If you choose to bring your own wine to the concert, you must follow our Bring & Be Served (BBS) Policy:
You may bring your own unopened bottle of wine (no spirits) to the event.
Other vessels or thermoses will not be allowed in the park.
At check-in, our team will place your bottle in a numbered wine bag and provide you with a matching claim check.
A member of our team will take the numbered wine bag to our separate Bring & Be Served Bar located in front of the park shed, and the bartender will open and serve your wine to you and your guests.
You retain the claim check for your wine bag and present it to the bartender whenever you would like more of your wine.
You cannot open the bottle yourself
You cannot pour the bottle yourself.
You cannot have the bottle with you anywhere in the park.
Only our RBS-certified bartenders are authorized to open and serve your alcohol.
There is no additional charge for this beverage service.
APPETIZER SERVICE BEGINS AT 5:00 PM — Our fabulous dinner partner from the summer BBQs, Pacific Pearl Cafe and Chef Michael Campbell, will be serving up a tasty selection of appetizers for guests to enjoy while sipping beverages and perusing the Silent Auction tables. Vegetarian option available.
DINNER SERVICE BEGINS AT 5:30 PM — Lido Islander favorite TK Burgers will be serving up their famous Burgers, Cheeseburgers, Chicken Sandwiches, and Garden Burgers with all the fixings from their signature mobile truck. Your dinner includes a bag of chips and a soda or bottled water. To top it all off, Handel's Ice Cream and Randy's Donuts will provide their delicious desserts. Winner!
SILENT AUCTION ENDS AT 6:15 PM
LIVE AUCTION BEGINS AT 6:30 PM — We are very fortunate to have generous donors who have given a spectacular collection of rare and exceptional items to be featured in our LIVE AUCTION. You will want to raise your hand high to be the winning bidder on these amazing treasures.
PERFORMANCE BY M STREET — The band will start rocking following the close of the LIJYC Live Auction, estimated to begin at or after 7:00 PM.
GETTING TO THE PARK — We encourage guests to walk, bike, or bring a golf cart to the event as parking spaces around the park will be limited. Please note that there will be a wedding reception at the clubhouse the day of the concert. Valet service will be provided exclusively for wedding guests, not concertgoers. If you drive, you need to self-park.
LAWN / BEACH CHAIR — Please bring your favorite lawn/beach chair to secure your space in the park. We also recommend bringing a towel or blanket, and a jacket to keep you warm after the sun goes down.SILENT AUCTION CLOSES AT 6:15 PM.
