LIJYC Kicks off the 2010 Junior Sailing Program
The Lido Isle Yacht Club Summer Junior Sailing Program is provided for children, or grandchildren, who are paid members under the LIYC’s membership of their parents or grandparents.

(Please note that the Lido Isle Community Association (LICA) phone number which is 949 -673 -6170 is NOT the same as the yacht club number.) Read the description of the classes and calendar dates on the website. Fill out your forms now and turn them in to VC Betsey Dougherty at 532 Via Lido Nord. The Junior Summer Sailing Program at Lido Isle and coached activities with the Balboa Bay Fleet are scheduled for 6 weeks beginning on Monday, June 28 and ending on Thursday, August 5. The advanced sabot program (A-C1) will be extended to 7 weeks to include Sabot Junior Nationals at Mission Bay Yacht Club this summer from August 9-12. Along with the Sailing events there are also fun social activities.
The Jr. Sailing Advisory Committee will gladly help you with any questions or additional information.

LIJYC Kicks off the 2010 Junior Sailing Program
The sun is shining and the breeze is crisp – just the right conditions to begin the Lido Isle Junior Yacht Club 2010 sailing season. Vice Commodore Betsey Dougherty and Sailing Director Ashley Simpson are working hard with a dedicated group of Sailing Committee members to design a program that has something for everyone, and a big quotient of FUN! Highlights of current and upcoming events are as follows:

Friday, June 4: First LIYC Friday Nite New Member BBQ and LIJYC Fundraiser

LIJYC Commodore Kaitlyn Cosenza and her Board have been meeting regularly with LIYC Director and Liaison to the LIJYC, C. Thomas Ruppert, to ensure a great summer for each sailor and their families. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to bring such an outstanding program to our children right here on Lido Isle. Remember that this year we are welcoming nieces and nephews into the program.
